Rami Avidan

Rami is heading up the IoT/M2M business for Tele2, in a shared leadership with Ingrid Wistrand. The two of them started up Tele2’s engagement in M2M and IoT in 2012, and have since established Tele2 as a leading player in the space.

Rami is a serial entrepreneur and has created companies in many various industries among others IT Security, Finance and Telecoms. Rami has a deep understanding of the Telco industry with a specific focus on the M2M/IoT industry, primarily due to the fact that he co-founded and ran the Wyless Group of companies for several years.

Rami joined Tele2 in 2013. His strengths include strategy and vision as well as strong leadership skills. Rami holds two M.Sc´s one in Finance as well as Management from Regents University, London, UK.

Ingrid Wistrand

Ingrid is heading up the IoT/M2M business for Tele2, in a shared leadership with Rami Avidan. The two of them started up Tele2’s engagement in M2M and IoT in 2012, and have since established Tele2 as a leading player in the space.

Ingrid is approaching 20 years’ in the telecommunication industry, working in various managerial positions in mobile operators, telecom vendors and as a management consultant.The last five years she has spent with Tele2. Her specialties include strategic thinking, business analysis and operational management with strong people skills.

She has an M.Sc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg Sweden and University of California, Berkeley in the US.

CTO, Axians

Erik Lenten

Erik Lenten is CTO of Axians in The Netherlands. In his role he guides new innovations from Axians to full market potential. Axians is one of the leading IoT system integrators in The Netherlands with over 900 employees.

Erik Lenten started his career at Cisco in The Netherlands where during a 13 year tenure he held various positions from technical presales to senior product manager. In 2014 Erik joined Imtech ICT as Technology Officer and with the acquisition of Imtech ICT by Axians now serves as CTO. Erik Lenten is a frequent speaker and enjoys vlogging about recent technical breakthroughs.

Leslie Shannon

Leslie entered the mobile communications world as a billing database analyst in the early 1990s. She joined Nokia Australia in 2000 and became the manager of the FutureLab, an early developer incubator in the days of WAP, GPRS and the beginnings of 3G. Building on her first-hand technical and business experience of the reality of bringing applications to market, she developed an analysis service for Nokia that examined success and failure factors for operators bringing mobile data to market that proved so successful that Nokia created a new department around her work. While in this role, she was based in Finland and worked with over 100 operators in more than 60 countries.

Leslie relocated to Silicon Valley in 2015 and now focuses on identifying disruptions and opportunities for Nokia and its operator partners coming from outside the traditional telco world. She is passionate not only about bringing strategic insight to Nokia and its customers, but also about introducing successful new paradigms from Silicon Valley to the telecommunications mindset, and continues to be a highly-regarded analyst and speaker.

Jos. H. Blejie

Jos Blejie is CEO of ICT Group in The Netherlands. After his education at the Dutch Tax authorities he started his career at PWC and continued his career at respectively EDS and IBM Global Services before he joined ATOS in 2000.  He held positions as Executive Vice President Service Line Managed Services Benelux, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing Benelux and Executive Vice President, Head of Siemens Global Partnership, a member of the Executive Committee. In December 2013, Jos Blejie joined ICT Group NV as CEO.

Steve Hilton

Steve Hilton is President at MachNation, the leading insight services firm researching Internet of Things (IoT) middleware and platforms. Steve serves on Cisco’s IoT World Forum Steering Committee where he is co-chairperson of the Service Provide working group. Steve has 23 years’ experience in technology and communications marketing. He has held senior positions at Analysys Mason, Yankee Group, Lucent Technologies, TDS (Telephone and Data Systems) and Cambridge Strategic Management Group.

Steve is a frequent speaker at industry and client events, and publishes articles and blogs in several respected trade journals. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Chicago and a Master’s degree in marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Niels de Schutter

Niels heads up the Business Division Connected Living & Mobility at Worldline, the Atos group’s ePayment and eTransactional Services powerhouse. His division offers IoT & Mobility solutions and services with a strong vertical focus on Connected Vehicles, Connected Home and Industrial IoT.

Niels joined Worldline beginning of 2017, after working several years in Atos’ Global Public & Health Practice, where his work on Smart Cities ignited his passion for Data Analytics and the Internet of Things. Niels lives in Brussels, Belgium and enjoys travelling, movies, football, skiing and spending time with friends and family.

Ken Laversin

Ken joined Jasper in 2013 as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. He built the global sales and alliances organization in our hyper growth phase, and helped establish Cisco Jasper’s global market presence and dominance as an IoT platform leader. Ken previously worked at Oracle where he held various SaaS and enterprise software sales leadership roles, including Vice President of North American Sales for Oracle’s Communications applications and infrastructure products. He also worked at Siebel Systems in domestic and international sales leadership and alliances roles. Ken holds a B.A. from the University of Arizona in Political Science and Economics.

Ronald Teijken

Ronald Teijken is Internet of Things Evangelist & Cross Industry Sales Specialist Europa IBM Cognitive Solutions. He has more than 25 years of professional experience in manufacturing, retail and IT with a strong focus on Supply Chain Management.

Ronald currently has a role in the cognitive solutions team supporting companies on analytics, Commerce, IoT and cognitive solutions with a primary focus on Retail, CPG, Manufacturing and logistics clients across Europe.

Head of Product Management, Tele2 IoT

Arjan Bovenberg

Arjan is heading up the Product Management team at Tele2 IoT and is responsible for developing the innovative new IoT enabling services in the product portfolio. Arjan has been part of Tele2 IoT since the very early days of the organisation and has helped setting up the Benelux IoT sales region from scratch as well as worked in a wide array of functions ranging from sales, partner management, technical pre-sales, marketing and product management.

Arjan’s skills include the ability to quickly translate technology into business value and creating disruptive business models for new products and go-to-market strategies. He is a strong believer in the Minimum Viable Product approach to product development and working agile with both internal development teams and partner suppliers.

Arjan has an M.Sc in International Economics and Business from Utrecht University in Netherlands.
