Rami Avidan

Rami is heading up the IoT/M2M business for Tele2, in a shared leadership with Ingrid Wistrand. The two of them started up Tele2’s engagement in M2M and IoT in 2012, and have since established Tele2 as a leading player in the space.

Rami is a serial entrepreneur and has created companies in many various industries among others IT Security, Finance and Telecoms. Rami has a deep understanding of the Telco industry with a specific focus on the M2M/IoT industry, primarily due to the fact that he co-founded and ran the Wyless Group of companies for several years.

Rami joined Tele2 in 2013. His strengths include strategy and vision as well as strong leadership skills. Rami holds two M.Sc´s one in Finance as well as Management from Regents University, London, UK.

Leslie Shannon

Leslie entered the mobile communications world as a billing database analyst in the early 1990s. She joined Nokia Australia in 2000 and became the manager of the FutureLab, an early developer incubator in the days of WAP, GPRS and the beginnings of 3G. Building on her first-hand technical and business experience of the reality of bringing applications to market, she developed an analysis service for Nokia that examined success and failure factors for operators bringing mobile data to market that proved so successful that Nokia created a new department around her work. While in this role, she was based in Finland and worked with over 100 operators in more than 60 countries.

Leslie relocated to Silicon Valley in 2015 and now focuses on identifying disruptions and opportunities for Nokia and its operator partners coming from outside the traditional telco world. She is passionate not only about bringing strategic insight to Nokia and its customers, but also about introducing successful new paradigms from Silicon Valley to the telecommunications mindset, and continues to be a highly-regarded analyst and speaker.

Ingrid Wistrand

Ingrid is heading up the IoT/M2M business for Tele2, in a shared leadership with Rami Avidan. The two of them started up Tele2’s engagement in M2M and IoT in 2012, and have since established Tele2 as a leading player in the space.

Ingrid is approaching 20 years’ in the telecommunication industry, working in various managerial positions in mobile operators, telecom vendors and as a management consultant.The last five years she has spent with Tele2. Her specialties include strategic thinking, business analysis and operational management with strong people skills.

She has an M.Sc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg Sweden and University of California, Berkeley in the US.

Steve Hilton

Steve Hilton is President at MachNation, the leading insight services firm researching Internet of Things (IoT) middleware and platforms. Steve serves on Cisco’s IoT World Forum Steering Committee where he is co-chairperson of the Service Provide working group. Steve has 23 years’ experience in technology and communications marketing. He has held senior positions at Analysys Mason, Yankee Group, Lucent Technologies, TDS (Telephone and Data Systems) and Cambridge Strategic Management Group.

Steve is a frequent speaker at industry and client events, and publishes articles and blogs in several respected trade journals. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Chicago and a Master’s degree in marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Stephen Bryant

Stephen is a pioneer in IoT and all things digital working as CTO of Tele2 IoT, an orchestrator of connectivity and connect solutions globally. His career has been all about building platforms before platforms were a thing for MVNEs, IoT connectivity and real-time analytics and machine learning.

Stephen has worked with many of the largest and most prestigious enterprises to build globally available business and life critical connectivity into their brand.
